SEASONAL SUMMER JOBS:
The Goshen Parks & Recreation Department is hiring the following seasonal general laborers for the summer:
- CASHIER – Manages money accepted for the use of pool facilities and concessions.
- CLEANER – Responsible for the daily upkeep and custodial duties of Goshen City Parks
- DISCOVERY DAY CAMP ASSISTANT COORDINATOR – Aids the coordinator in managing the day-to-day operations of the Discovery Day Camp program.
- DISCOVER DAY CAMP COORDINATOR – Manages the day-to-day operations of the Discovery Day Camp program
- DISCOVERY DAY CAMP STAFF – Performs the day-to-day operations of the Discovery Day Camp program
- LANDSCAPER – Responsible for the daily upkeep of Goshen City Parks. Responsibilities include string trimming and edging, planting and maintaining flower beds, removing weeds and maintaining the greenhouse
- LANDSCAPE/MOWING – Responsible for the daily upkeep of Goshen City Parks, through mowing, trimming and other duties as assigned.
- LANDSCAPE AND MAINTENANCE AT FIDLER POND – Duties include mowing and trimming, maintenance, canoe rental and launching, fishing permits and customer service.
- LIFEGUARD – Provides for the safety of the pool patrons while maintaining the pool facility.
- POOL OPERATIONS ASSISTANT – Practices all phases of public pool management, including the ability to execute daily pool functions without direct supervision.
- POOL OPERATIONS – Manages the day-to-day operations of the Shanklin Public Pool.
- SWIM INSTRUCTOR – Responsible for instructing swim lessons to guests while providing a safe and enjoyable aquatics facility.
