LIGHT EQUIPMENT OPERATOR- STREET DEPARTMENT

The City of Goshen Street department currently has positions available for a full-time Light Equipment Operator.  This a Union position. Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B minimum) and current CDL physical required.  Starting pay: $22.98 hourly.  Essential duties and responsibilities will include: Plowing snow; applying salt/sand to streets, hauling various materials including dirt, leaves, snow, brush, asphalt, and concrete; patching streets; sealing cracks and cleaning catch basins.  View the full job description here.

PROBATIONARY PATROL OFFICER - GOSHEN POLICE DEPARTMENT

The responsibilities for this position encompass various essential duties, including patrolling for suspicious activities, conducting traffic enforcement, investigating crimes, and maintaining community visibility. Officers are tasked with protecting life and property, collecting evidence, and fostering connections within the community through education and referrals to appropriate services. They also engage in clerical tasks, assist colleagues as needed, and fulfill other related duties as required.
