Adult Summer Softball Leagues

Registration is now open for our 2019 Adult Summer Softball Leagues! Teams can register at the Park Office located at 410 W. Plymouth Ave. during the business hours of 7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. Teams will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. The league fees must be paid in full for a team to be officially registered. The leagues will have a doubleheader format with a single elimination format to follow regular season play.

League Divisions

  • Monday (C): Starts April 29. Recreational League
  • Tuesday (B): Starts April 30. Intermediate League  
  • Thursday (A): Starts May 2. Advanced League

Adult Co-Ed Sand Volleyball

Officiated league with a leisure division and a competitive division, 6 vs. 6 format. League plays at Pringle Park’s sand lots. Season concludes with a seeded, single-elimination tournament, with awards given to top two tournament champions in each division. Standings are kept throughout the season and posted to league website: www.leaguelineup.com/gprdvolleyball. Indoor co-ed volleyball play begins in November; contact Frank for more information.

Co-Ed Indoor Volleyball

This indoor league guarantees a minimum of eight games and an end-of-season tournament. Games will be played in a Goshen Community Schools gymnasium, to be announced. There is a four-team minimum and an eight-team maximum for each skill level. League will be conducted the week of November 4 through March 5 (gymnasiums will be closed during holiday breaks, as well as during school events, to be announced). Registration is currently being accepted at the Goshen Parks & Recreation Office through October 18 or until league is full. Pre-registration and roster form with paid entry fee must be collected at the Park Office. Fee is $275 per team. A mandatory team manager meeting will be scheduled upon the close of registration. Mondays
“B/BB”: Intermediate, moderate to high skill level by players/teams. Players will be able to bump, set and spike well. Teams may use multiple offensive and defensive strategies and may attempt to double block.

Tuesdays
“C/D”: Recreational teams with average to less-skilled players who want social activity, fun and exercise.

Wednesdays
“B/BB”: Intermediate, moderate to high skill level by players/teams. Players will be able to bump, set and spike well. Teams may use multiple offensive and defensive strategies and may attempt to double block.

Thursdays
“A/AA”: Players/teams with competitive, highly skilled players with consistently accurate setting, along with good knowledge of running offensive volleyball plays.


Men’s Basketball League

Teams are guaranteed a minimum of nine games and an end-of-season tournament. Nine regular season games will be played at Goshen High School along with a post-season tournament. Pre-registration is currently being accepted at the Goshen Parks & Recreation Office through October 18 or until the league is full. In order to secure a spot in the league, the registration and roster form with a paid entry fee must be collected at the Park Office. A mandatory team manager meeting will be scheduled upon the close of registration. Contact Frank, 534-6723, with any questions.

Adult Basketball Open Gym

Enjoy some Wednesday evening pick-up games during two sessions of Men’s 40 and Older Open Gym. Individuals play each Wednesday, 7–9 pm, November 6 to March 25, 2020 in a Goshen Community Schools gymnasium, to be announced. Pre-registration is required and is currently being accepted at the Goshen Parks & Recreation Office.
