Shanklin Pool is closed for the 2025 season for pool construction see you in 2026!

Shanklin Pool 

Whether your summer fun includes water slides, diving boards, lap swims, open swims, swim lessons, pool parties or just sunbathing, Shanklin Pool is your summer hot spot! Our concession stand is open during public swim hours with a full menu. For additional information, you may contact the pool at (574) 533-7616 or the Parks Office at (574) 534-2901.


 

Online Registration

We are excited to now be featuring online registration! Click on the link below to register for swim lessons or to reserve the pool, purchase daily or seasonal passes.Parents must have a signed waiver to allow children 14 years of age and older to attend. Parents and guardians can go online and create an account and purchase daily pool passes in advance and then those 14 years of age to 17 years of age can just check in upon arrival.  Please note a convenience fee of 2.85% or $1.00 minimum is assessed to each credit/debit card transaction.

Resident and Non-Resident Fees:

Goshen City residents, through city property taxes, contribute substantially to support facilities and programs offered by the Goshen Parks and Recreation Department.  Non-residents are commonly asked to pay an additional amount so they contribute equally with those City residents.  We appreciate non-resident’s understanding in this situation regarding our fee structure.  A City resident is anyone who lives within the City limits of Goshen.

Group Rates:
Half-price daily admission is offered to non-profit organizations that have 10 or more guests visiting the pool. Organizations must schedule group visits with the pool manager in advance; call 533-7616 or the Park Office at 534-2901. A Federal Tax ID Number must be presented prior to the visit in order to receive the group rate. Otherwise, the full admission price will be charged- no exceptions. One adult per 10 youths is required.

Pool Rentals:
Available pool hours for rentals are as follows:
Saturdays & Sundays, 10 am - 12 noon or  7 - 9 pm
$225.00 + tax per two-hour time slot, for up to 30 guests

Red Cross-Certified Beginner to Advanced Swim Lessons

Swim lessons are offered under the instruction of certified instructors and their assistants. Classes follow the American Red Cross standards, focusing on levels of water exploration, primary skills, stroke readiness and stroke development. Class space is limited, so please register early to ensure availability. Adult lessons and specific stroke training are available upon request; call 533-7616. Beginner lessons are for ages 5+ and are $55.00 per session.

Red Cross-Certified Parent and Child Swim Lessons

Our skilled instructors provide a fun learning environment for toddlers while they explore the pool. Swim diapers are required and may be purchased at the pool. During Class A, a parent will accompany the child in the water. During Class B, a parent will accompany 3-year-old children for the first few classes to assist in transition. Fee is $55.00 per session.

Class A: Ages 6 months to 2 years
Class B: Ages 3–4

Shanklin Pool Special Events

Dive-In Movie 

When: Saturday, June 8, 2024

Fee: $3 per person

Guests can float with the aid of water noodles (not provided), relax on the floatable's (not provided) or lounge on the poolside chairs while they enjoy The Water Horse, a popular, family-friendly movie. No need to register. Doors will open at 7:30 pm. Pool rules will apply to all patrons. Please note: The diving board and slide will be closed during and after the movie. NO OPEN SWIM DURING THE MOVIE. Pool capacity is limited to the first 200 guests. Dive-in movies are not available for rental or private events. The concession stand will be open during the movie.

College Student Thrifty Thursdays: You won’t need a loan for this! Enjoy some fun in the sun. Each Thursday, college students with a college photo ID will be admitted all day at the twilight rate of $2.

Grandparents’ Summer Sittin’ Tuesdays: Baby-sitting? Spend a day at the pool. Each Tuesday, grandparents receive free admission when accompanied by children 3 years and older. Regular fees apply for grandchildren.

Teen Scene Mondays: Mondays aren’t dreary when it’s summer! Each Monday, teens are admitted all day at the evening rate of $2. Bring your school ID and your friends and celebrate summer Mondays.

Daddy’s Day Dip: Kids, bring your dad to Shanklin for his Father’s Day gift on Sunday, June 19. Picnic in the park or “dine” at Shanklin’s concession stand. Fathers accompanied by children 3 years and older will be admitted free. Regular rates apply for children.

Family Fun Days! Each Wednesday, 6 - 8 pm. Pool games and fun activities. Families are admitted for $6. A family consists of parent(s)/guardian(s) and their legal dependents.

Fair Week: During Fair Week (July 22 to 30), when you visit Shanklin Pool, you receive 1/2 off your pool admission. Season pass holders receive a free slushie!
