Neighborhood Block Party Grant

The Community Relations Commission (CRC) invites Goshen residents to apply for a Neighborhood Block Party Grant. This initiative helps neighbors connect, collaborate, and celebrate where they live. The grant supports community-building activities that strengthen relationships and encourage local problem-solving.

What are eligible expenses?

  • Supplies for a neighborhood gathering
  • Print or promotional materials
  • Activities that encourage participation and connection

The city will accept applications on a rolling basis from Monday, June 16, through Friday, Oct. 3, or until all funds are awarded

What You Can Get with a Neighborhood Block Party Grant

  • Neighborhoods may receive up to $200 in grant funding
  • No matching funds are required
  • The city will award grants until it exhausts available funds
  • Neighborhoods must finalize all expenses and submit receipts and a brief final report by Friday, Nov. 14
  • Neighborhood representatives may request reimbursement or direct vendor payment. All vendors must complete forms required by the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office
  • Neighborhoods must sign a funding agreement before making any purchases

Who Can Apply and How It Works

Applicants do not need to represent a formal neighborhood association but must define a clear geographic area. Informal groups formed for a single project are eligible.

Alcohol purchases are not eligible for reimbursement.
