West Lincoln Avenue will be restricted to one lane Friday, Aug. 18 and Monday, Aug. 21 in the 1700 block of W. Lincoln Avenue, across from Silverwood Lane. Crews will reopen the lane at the end of the day Friday and close again Monday Morning, before reopening to traffic at the end of the day Monday. more

Norfolk Southern has changed the dates of when railroad crossings in Goshen will be closed. Last month, the city notified residents there would be no brush collection in August. That has changed to due to there being significant amounts of brush out on the streets from storm damage. The Mission of the Goshen Police Department Honor Guard is to instill the knowledge and skills necessary to execute the duties and responsibilities associated with Honor Guard details.
The Goshen Police Department Honor Guard Training Camp was established in 2003. At the conclusion of the 2009 classes, more than 700 police officers and firefighters from across the United States had been trained in Color and Honor Guard procedures to properly honor and pay tribute to "those who went before."
