US 33 NORTH CONNECTOR PROJECT

Rieth Riley Construction and HRP Construction, contractors working with the Indiana Department of Transportation, closed the intersection of Madison and W. 11th streets Monday for the installation of water main, storm and sanitary sewer pipes. The intersection will reopen Tuesday, Nov. 1.

Currently, HRP Construction is installing water main, storm sewer and sanitary pipes within the US 33 corridor. In the near future, utility companies will commence with the relocation of their facilities.

As the project progresses, INDOT will continue issuing future notices.

ROAD CLOSURES

The following roads and bridges will be closed in the coming days for inspections and construction:

Jefferson Street will be closed from Fifth to Main streets starting 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, until Friday, Sept. 30, for the replacement of damaged concrete in the roadway, sidewalk and alley approach.

Elkhart County will close down Indiana Avenue Bridge, which goes over the Elkhart River, on Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to perform a fracture critical inspection required by the Indiana Department of Transportation.

New Street will be closed from Pike to Wilkinson streets beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, for the replacement of damaged concrete panels in the roadway.

The Lincoln Avenue Bridge, which goes over the Elkhart River, will be closed from 8 a.m. Oct. 4, to 8 a.m. Oct. 7, to seal the concrete deck with epoxy coating.

The Community Relations Commission of Goshen is currently in need of assistance with logo design and marketing services. Please consider the attached Request for Proposal.

Regarding the ongoing attendance at CRC marketing committee meetings we anticipate needing to simply get feedback on various marketing strategies including but not limited to news print, social media, other print materials, etc. We do expect that we will provide all of our own content but expect delivery methods and strategies to be something the marketing firm can provide guidance for.
