Borden Waste-Away is collecting lost and found dumpsters that were carried away by floodwaters in late February. They retrieved four containers from Shanklin Park, and suspect more are out there. They could be in a ditch or on a tree, or event floating (or sunk) in the Elkhart River, Millrace Canal or behind Linway Plaza.
If you are aware of any dumpster that was removed by the flood, or if you find one, please call Borden Waste-Away at 293.5001, and dial 1 to talk with customer service, or call City Hall at 533.8621 and your report will be forwarded to Borden.
When reporting a found dumpster, please provide the address or landmark that it is closest to. Other helpful information to share would be color and the logo on it, (if applicable).
