The Goshen Street Department will be paving S. 10th Street from College Avenue to New York Street. The road will be restricted to one lane, with flaggers to help with traffic flow.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING – CRC

Pursuant to the provisions of the Open Door Law and Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-5, the CRC will hold its periodic planning retreat on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018 at 6:15 p.m.
ROAD RESTRICTIONS: PIKE STREET
ROAD CLOSURE: OLD CR 17
Old CR 17 will be closed between Bashor Road and Shirley Drive on Wednesday, Sept. 19, Thursday, Sept. 20 and Friday, Sept. 21 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The road will be reopened after each day of construction. The work is part of the Northwest Bike Trail project.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured via Peddlers Village to US 33, Greene Road and Bashor Road.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE: S. 10TH STREET
WATCH FOR PAINT: 100 BLK OF S. MAIN STREET
Repairs and painting of the upper facade of a building on the 100 block of S. Main Street will be taking place beginning Tuesday, Sept. 18. Three parking spots will be blocked to allow equipment for the repairs and paint work. The sidewalk will also be partially closed to avoid accidents.
Work is expected to be completed within a week.
ROAD CLOSURE: FIRST STREET
The first phase of construction on the First Street reconstruction project is scheduled to begin today, Sept. 17, 2018. The road was already closed to traffic from Rock Run Creek to the north side of the intersection of First Street and Oakridge Avenue since July for utilities work, and will continue to be closed to all the reconstruction of the road.

ROAD CLOSURE: KERCHER ROAD
Kercher Road is currently closed to the public from the Marion railroad tracks to Weymouth Boulevard, but has been open from either end for local traffic. Beginning today, Sept. 17, the west end , at the railroad tracks, will be completely closed to all traffic to permit the installation of the water main improvements and to allow the railroad signal work to occur. The west end closure to local traffic is anticipated to extend through the week of Oct. 1.
Residents and NIPSCO employees will need to use the east end of Kercher Road to enter and exit the work zone.
ROAD CLOSURE: COTTAGE AVENUE
UPDATE: Due to a delay, Cottage Avenue will be closed on Wednesday or Thursday this week (Sept. 19 or 20), for the installation of a monitoring well for the Water and Sewer Department.
Cottage Avenue will be closed from Bridge Street to Lincoln Avenue from 7 a.m. Sept. 17, to noon Sept. 18 to allow for the installation of a monitoring well for the Water and Sewer Department.
