Pursuant to the provisions of the Open Door Law and Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-5, the Goshen Redevelopment Commission will be holding a public meeting on January 30, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at the City Court Room/ Council Chambers at the Goshen Police & Court Building, 111 East Jefferson Street, Goshen, Indiana.

The Park Board meeting scheduled for Monday, January 22, 2018 is cancelled due to lack of quorum.
The meeting is rescheduled for Thursday, January 25, 2018, 5:30 pm at Rieth Interpretive Center, 410 W. Plymouth Avenue.

A Petition for Annexation into the City of Goshen has been filed with the Goshen Common Council requesting the annexation of certain real estate located outside, but contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Goshen. This area is identified as the “Lippert/D-ACT-Z Annexation Area”. The proposed annexation area consists of approximately three hundred thirty-three (333) acres of real estate and is generally located northeast of the railroad tracks, west of County Road 31 and on either side of College Avenue (CR 36). The Goshen Common Council will be conducting a public hearing concerning the Lippert/D-ACT-Z annexation. The public hearing will be held at the Common Council’s regular meeting on January 16, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Court Room/Council Chambers at the Goshen Police & Court Building, 111 East Jefferson Street, Goshen, Indiana. All interested members of the public are invited to attend and will be given the opportunity to testify on the proposed annexation at the public hearing.

The Goshen Parks and Recreation Department Board meeting scheduled for Monday, December 18, 2017, has been cancelled due to lack of agenda items.

The January, 2018 meeting will be held the 22nd due to Martin Luther King Jr. holiday observed on the 15th.

Goshen’s Park Board meets at Rieth Interpretive Center at 5:30pm.

The Goshen City Council will conduct a public hearing at its regular meeting on December 5, 2017 at 7 p.m. to discuss an additional appropriation. The hearing will be held in the City Court Room/Council Chambers at the Goshen Police & Court Building, 111 East Jefferson Street, Goshen, Indiana. All interested members of the public are invited to attend.

You are hereby notified that pursuant to Goshen City Code Title 6, Article 9, Chapter 1, a Rank Vegetation and Noxious Weeds Variance request has been received by the City of Goshen Parks and Recreation Department. Therefore, a preliminary meeting is scheduled on the petition for a variance to permit the growing of what is considered rank vegetation under Goshen City Code Title 6, Article 9, Chapter 1.

The appointed Goshen Dam Pond Dredging Advisory Board will meet on Friday October 6, at 6 p.m. at the Annex Building Conference Room located at 204 East Jefferson Street, Goshen, Indiana 46526. The Board will be signing the dredging contract with Gro America.
