The public is invited to attend an Open House Wednesday, December 7, 11:30–1:30, at City Hall, on the corner of Fifth and Washington streets. Visitors are asked to bring a donation of canned goods or non-perishable food items which will be donated to the pantry of First United Methodist Church.
The event is an annual holiday open house, and this year Tina Bontrager will be joining the celebration. The combined event provides a time for the public to thank her for her service to the residents of Goshen. She has served thirteen years as City Clerk-Treasurer, including the past six years a Utility Business Office Manager. Brief comments will be made at 12:30 p.m.
The Open House is also a way to show appreciation to the many folks who make Goshen a great place.
“Committed employees and dedicated board, commission and committee members are important,” says Mayor Stutsman. “But it is also critical that we have a multitude of caring neighbors and general citizens who care about this community. The Open House is an opportunity to visit with folks who care about their community and express thanks to them.”
