Shanklin Pool season is almost here!

It’s nearly that time of year! Shanklin Pool will officially be open for the season on Saturday, May 25. Before you pack your pool bag, be sure to catch up on all the need to know info:

Hours

The pool is open Monday through Friday from 12 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 7 p.m. starting Saturday, May 25, through Sunday, July 28. Shanklin Pool is only open on the weekends during the month of August.

Adult lap swim is available from Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Daily Admission

All children two years and under are free. Daily admission rates are set by age and resident/non-resident. If you are returning to swim during the 6 to 8 p.m. twilight hours, admission is only $2.

Admission for residents (anyone who lives within the City limits of Goshen):

  • Youth (3-17 years): $4
  • Adults (18+): $5
  • Seniors (60+): $4

Admission for non-residents:

  • Youth (3-17 years): $5
  • Adults (18+): $6
  • Seniors (60+): $5

If you’re planning to be a regular visitor this season, you can also purchase season passes.

Online Registration

Goshen Parks and Recreation Department is excited to be able feature online registration, so you can beat the line.

Visit the parks and recreation’s CivicRec page to register for all pool-related activities, such as registering for swim lessons or reserving the pool, and purchasing daily or seasonal passes. Please note a convenience fee of 2.85% or $1.00 minimum is assessed to each credit/debit card transaction.

Parents must have a signed waiver to allow children 14 years of age and older to attend. Parents and guardians can go online and create an account and purchase daily pool passes in advance and then those 14 years of age to 17 years of age can just check in upon arrival.
