Jackson Demolition crews have razed 3 of the 4 building structures on the corner of Fifth Street and Pike Street. Later this week, the building structures to be torn down on Pike Street between the Elkhart River Bridge and Third Street will have orange snow fence installed around them. The demolition crews will mobilize in that area next week.
Homer Tree Services will mobilize this week for tree removal along Pike Street, which will require lane closures between the Elkhart River Bridge and Fifth Street. The roadway will remain open to traffic; however, motorists may experience delays due to the construction activities.
