On August 17, Rieth Riley Construction will be permanently closing the following streets, with one exception listed below, for installation of the utilities and construction of the US 33 North Connector.
1. Clinton Street east of 6th Street.
2. 7th Street between Lincoln Avenue and Clinton Street. (The half block section of 7th Street just north of Lincoln Avenue will be re-opened to traffic, once reconstructed.)
3. Alley parallel to Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks between 7th Street and Cottage Avenue.
Residents north of Lincoln Avenue, south of the railroad tracks and east of 5th Street will receive additional information about mail delivery, garbage pickup, driveway access, etc. through a construction pamphlet that will be distributed on Tuesday, August 16.
