SR 119/Plymouth Avenue from Indiana Avenue to the drive entrance to Shanklin Park will be closed to traffic starting SATURDAY, JULY 9, until September 2, for the construction of the Trail Crossing Modification project.
We understand that this road closure will be a major inconvenience for many residents. However, construction work is much quicker and safer with the roadway closed to traffic. It is very important for traffic flow to have SR 119/Plymouth Avenue re-opened to traffic prior to the closure of the Kercher Road/CR 38 Bridge over the Elkhart River Bridge, which is anticipated to occur sometime after Labor Day, September 5, 2016.
