Because 5th Street, north of Jefferson Street, will not be paved before the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, the street closure that was approved by the Board or Works for the parade needs to be altered, because the area north of Jefferson Street has a 2” milled lip at Jefferson Street, and there are various structures that are sticking up in the road that pose a trip hazard to parade participants.
The new closure area will be:
– Jefferson Street – Main Street to 7th Street, leaving 7th Street open
– 5th Street – Madison Street to Jefferson Street
