Goshen’s 2025 International Women’s Day Luncheon Showcases Women Breaking Barriers

Four women leading in healthcare, finance, public safety, and emergency response shared their personal journeys at Goshen’s 2025 International Women’s Day luncheon at Bread & Chocolate.

The event, hosted by the City of Goshen’s Community Relations Commission on Friday, March 7, 2025, highlighted stories of perseverance, leadership, and progress under the theme “Breaking Barriers.”

The Goshen Fire Department welcomed four new firefighters Wednesday, April 2, 2025, during a ceremony in the main auditorium of the Goshen Theater downtown. The event marked the graduation of the latest class from the department’s 20-week Recruit Academy.

“These recruits chose a path that requires courage, clarity, and care,” Mayor Gina Leichty said during her welcome address. “They join a team that serves Goshen with dedication and heart.”
