Goshen MIH: Mental Health, Addiction Recovery, and Homelessness Support
Collaborative and Proactive Support
Goshen Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) is a crisis response and community care initiative led by the City of Goshen, in collaboration with the Goshen Police Department, Goshen Fire Department, Goshen Health, Oaklawn, and other key partners.

Goshen MIH provides proactive support to residents facing mental illness, substance use disorders, or housing insecurity. The program connects individuals with vital community resources and helps reduce reliance on emergency services.
Mobile Integrated Health (MIH)
Launched in 2025 by Mayor Gina Leichty, Goshen MIH is a mobile crisis response unit that brings together a multidisciplinary team including:
- Trained mental health officers
- Community paramedics
- Partnerships with licensed clinicians
- A future certified therapy dog, Maple the Puppy
