Upcoming Road Work & Closures: June 16 – June 30

The City of Goshen would like to notify residents and commuters of several upcoming road closures and lane restrictions as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements. These upgrades will improve safety, extend pavement life, and enhance your daily drive.


Jefferson Street — Extended Closure Begins June 16

Closure Dates:
Monday, June 16 through at least Friday, August 29 (potentially longer)

Closure Area:
Jefferson Street between 5th Street and the alley east of 5th Street

Access Details:

  • The alley will remain open for local use.
  • Local traffic will still have access to Jefferson Street from 6th Street up to the alley.
  • Through traffic should seek alternate routes and follow posted detours.

We appreciate the community’s patience as this extended closure is necessary for significant construction activity in the area.


Abbington Court, Crosshaven & Leana — Full Closure

Closure Dates:
Wednesday, June 18 through Tuesday, June 24

Scope of Work:
Niblock will perform full-depth patching, then mill and resurface these streets to improve their structural integrity and appearance.

Resident Impact:

  • Access will be maintained for residents, mail carriers, and trash collection.
  • All residents have been notified of the construction timeline and access details.

Keystone Dr., Dierdorff, Ashburn & Berkshire — Lane Restrictions

Lane Restriction Dates:
Friday, June 20 through Monday, June 30

Scope of Work:
Roads will undergo full-depth patching, milling, and resurfacing by Niblock. Lane restrictions will be managed by flaggers to allow continued but controlled traffic flow.

Traffic Impact:

  • Thru traffic will be maintained, but expect delays and flagged directions.
  • Businesses have been informed to coordinate access with customers and deliveries.
