Public Notice: North Goshen Service Line and Utility Improvements – Notice of Intent

The City of Goshen (204 E. Jefferson Street, Suite #1, Goshen, Indiana 46528) will be submitting a Notice of Intent (NOI) letter to notify the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) of their intent to comply with the requirements of the Indiana Construction Stormwater General Permit (CSGP) to discharge stormwater from construction and land disturbing activities associated with the installation of utility improvements and water service line replacement in a North Goshen Neighborhood as described below.

The project is located in a section of a North Goshen neighborhood, bounded by Rock Run Creek on the west, SR 15 (N. Main St.) to the east, Wilden Avenue to the north, and W. Oakridge Avenue to the south. It is located in the NE 1/4 of Section 4, Township 36 N, Range 6 E, in Elkhart Township, Elkhart County, Indiana.

Runoff from the project will flow into a new public storm sewer system that drains to Rock Run Creek to the west.
