Goshen’s Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration captured the spirit of First Fridays “Harvest” festival Oct. 3 with song, story and reflection downtown.

Booths from the Goshen Public Library, Goshen Historical Society and Community Relations Commission offered stories, photos and resources about Indigenous culture.

About the Community Relations Commission
Goshen’s Community Relations Commission sponsors the annual Indigenous Peoples Day celebration. The CRC develops programs and policies that aim for a city free from racism and discrimination. The commission promotes equality, cultivates dialogue, and builds understanding among Goshen’s diverse residents.
Regular meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m. inside Council Chambers at the Police & Courts Building, 111 E. Jefferson St.
