GOSHEN, Ind. — The City of Goshen Street Department has resumed Goshen leaf pickup as weather conditions allow this week and possibly beyond.
Crews are collecting leaves while conditions permit, though progress will be slower because material is compacted, wet, and partially frozen.
Goshen Leaf Pickup Prioritizes Safety and Access
To support safe travel during winter conditions, crews are addressing areas where leaf buildup affects drainage and visibility. Work will continue into residential neighborhoods as conditions improve.
Residents are asked to ensure leaves are raked to the curb to support efficient collection.
Residents have additional free options for leaf disposal. The Street Department can deliver a brush trailer to a residence. Residents load the leaves, and crews transport the material for composting. To request a trailer, call 574-534-9711.
Residents may also drop leaves at the Environmental Center at 20100 C.R. 19 at no charge.
Christmas Tree Collection Continues Throughout January
Alongside leaf collection, the Street Department is collecting natural Christmas trees throughout January.
Residents should place trees curbside for pickup, not in the street or alley. Please remove all lights, ornaments, and tinsel before setting trees out.
Trees may also be dropped off at the Environmental Center.
The City thanks residents for their patience and recognizes the Street Department for its continued work during winter conditions.
