Residents are asked to avoid doing laundry while crews are flushing in their area. Rust and sediment may cause temporary water discoloration. Goshen Utilities will provide special soap to help remove stains if laundry is affected.

Hydrant flushing helps maintain water quality by clearing sediment and ensuring hydrants work properly for fire protection. Overnight flushing reduces daytime disruption for homes and businesses, eases traffic congestion, and allows water pressure to recover before peak use.
