The annual Rock the Quarry Triathlon returns for its ninth year on Saturday, August 10th at Fidler Pond Park.
You can register for the triathlon as an individual or as a relay team of two or three people. The registration fee includes an event t-shirt, swim cap, chip timing, free parking, awards (overall and AG), and light post-race refreshments. You may register online or by mailing in a registration form. Participants must be at least 13 years old to compete in the triathlon and mile swim.
The cost for an individual is $55, a two-person team costs $90, and a three-person team is $100. The registration fee for the mile swim is $40. Registration fees increase if you pay at packet pickup.
Since this triathlon is a USAT-sanctioned race, participants will either need to be a USAT member or purchase an adult one-day license for an individual is $10, and relays are $6 max per person. Youths age 17 and younger can purchase an annual USAT membership for $5. You can pay for this online or by mail-in registration form. Participants in the Mile Swim do not need to purchase a one-day license.
Packet pickup is at Chiddister Pavilion in Fidler Pond Park, 1424 Lincolnway East (US 33 and College Avenue), Goshen, 46528, on Friday, August 9, from 4 -6 p.m. and on race day of Saturday, August 10, from 6 – 7:30 a.m.
