REMINDER: CITY TRICK OR TREAT HOURS

Goshen’s 2019 trick-or-treat hours will be 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31. These are the same hours as the last three years.

ROAD CLOSURE: GREENE ROAD

Greene Road will be closed the week of October 14 to allow contractor C&E Excavating to work on utility taps for the new intermediate school. The road will be reopened Friday, October 18. Traffic will be detoured to Plymouth to Indiana to Berkey.

ROAD CLOSURE: LOMBARDY DRIVE

Lombardy Drive will be closed to traffic between Caragana Drive and Kercher Road, from Friday, October 11, until the end of the day Tuesday, October 15. The area will be graded and the subgrade treatment completed as part of the Kercher Road project. An asphalt layer base will be installed during the closure.

ROAD CLOSURE: CARTER ROAD

The 200 block of Carter Road will be closed from October 9 to October 31st to allow for drainage improvements. Goshen’s stormwater management office is working with Kibby Excavating to improve the drainage swale on the 200 block of Carter Road. PARKING RESTRICTIONS: GARFIELD AVENUE

The east half of the block of Garfield Avenue between Main and 6th streets has restricted parking on the north side, following a recommendation from the Traffic Commission and approval from the Board of Works. The restriction only applies to the east half—from the alley to 6th Street.
