ROAD REOPENED: KERCHER ROAD

On Tuesday, Kercher Road, from Dierdorff Road to Lincolnway East (US 33), reopened to two-way traffic. It will remain two-way until the completion of the project.

VETERANS DAY

All City offices will be closed Monday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. The Board of Works meeting—regularly scheduled on Mondays, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 12 at 2 p.m. Trash collection will NOT be affected by the holiday this week. BOIL ORDER: 100 BLOCK OF N. RIVERSIDE

On Wednesday, Nov. 6, the water main was shut off on the 100 block of Riverside Boulevard, between W. Lincoln and W. Clinton streets, to replace a water valve; a boil order is being issued when water comes back on. RESCHEDULED: BOARD OF WORKS

The Monday, November 11 Board of Works meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 12 at 2 p.m., due to the Veterans’ Day holiday. the meeting will be held at the city court building, 111 E. Jefferson St.

ROAD CLOSURE: RIVERSIDE BOULEVARD

Riverside Boulevard is closed between Lincoln and West avenues until Friday, November 8, 2019. The Goshen Water and Sewer Department is installing a water main valve on the intersection of Riverside Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue. Work will require crews to dig an 8 foot trench.

ROAD CLOSURE: DEWEY AVENUE

Dewey Avenue, between Prairie and Berkey Avenue, will be closed to through traffic from Tuesday, November 5, 2019, to Thursday, November 7. ELECTION DAY IS NOVEMBER 5

City offices will remain open on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019. The City Council meeting for Tuesday(usually scheduled for the first and third Tuesday of the month) is canceled for Nov. 5. The next council meeting will be Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Goshen City courtroom.
