Amend Title 2, Civil Rights, Article 2, Fair Housing, of the Goshen City Code
Ordinance 5208, Amend Title 2, Civil Rights, Article 2, Fair Housing, of the Goshen City Code, was passed by the Goshen Common Council and approved and adopted by Mayor Leichty on December 16, 2024. Unless otherwise exempt, Ordinance 5208 prohibits the discrimination in housing against an individual based on an individual’s race, color, religion, sex, familial status, handicap, or national origin. The City of Goshen will refer all formal complaints of a violation by an aggrieved person or complainant to the Indiana Civil Rights Commission for administrative enforcement action, including investigation, resolution, and appropriate relief as provided under I.C. 22-9.5-6. Ordinance 5208 is available for inspection in its entirety during regular business hours at the Goshen Clerk-Treasurer’s Office located at 202 South Fifth Street, Goshen, Indiana.
