Goshen Trick or Treat Hours: When and Where to Celebrate Halloween

GOSHEN, Ind. — K-Pop Demon Hunters stalk the sidewalks, Peppa Pig skips past porches, and Wednesday Addams stares down the night. That’s the scene Goshen families can expect when trick-or-treating sweeps through the city limits from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31.

With costumes, candy, and crowds clogging many street corners, the City urges families to keep safety front and center while making the rounds.

Evening Trick-or-Treat Guidelines

The City asks residents to keep Halloween safe and fun by following these rules:

  • Trick-or-treaters visit only homes with porch lights on, stay on sidewalks, and avoid entering unfamiliar houses.
  • Residents who do not participate turn off porch lights.
  • Drivers slow down, stay alert, and watch for children crossing streets.
  • Homeowners handing out candy keep walkways clear and well lit.
  • Parents check candy before children eat it.
  • Young children travel with adults, and older kids travel in groups.
  • Costumes include reflective tape or glow sticks for visibility.
  • Phones and electronics stay tucked away while walking to avoid distractions.
