Photos: Goshen Honors Fallen With Memorial Day Parade and Remembrances

GOSHEN, Ind. — Goshen residents filled the streets Monday, May 26, to honor fallen service members during the city’s annual Memorial Day Parade and ceremonies.

The morning began with a quiet service at Powerhouse Park, where attendees gathered along the Elkhart River to reflect and remember. Community members then walked to the Courthouse lawn for a short ceremony before lining the sidewalks downtown for the parade.

Veterans, scouts, students and civic groups marched through the city while families waved flags and cheered in red, white and blue.

The procession ended at Oakridge Cemetery. There, organizers delivered patriotic music, guest remarks and a tribute to those who gave their lives in service.

Goshen VFW Post 985 and civic partners led the effort to unite the community in remembrance and gratitude.
