Goshen Mayor Gina Leichty delivered her 2025 State of the City address during the Chamber of Commerce Founder’s Day Celebration Thursday, March 20 at Maple City Chapel.

Approximately 600 local business and community leaders attended the event that celebrates Goshen’s founding dating back to 1831 and the establishment of the Chamber 71 years ago.

About Mayor Leichty

Mayor Gina Leichty has been a driving force behind Goshen’s growth for more than two decades. Before becoming the city’s chief executive in 2023, she built a career in executive leadership, marketing, and community development. She co-founded a local business, launched Goshen’s First Fridays, and helped sustain the historic Goshen Theater. As Goshen’s 33rd mayor, and the first woman to hold this office, she brings an entrepreneurial approach to City Hall with a focus on smart growth, blight reduction, and collaboration—believing real progress happens when government, businesses, and residents work together to build a stronger, more vibrant community.

About Founder’s Day | State of the City

​Founders’ Day is an annual celebration hosted by the Goshen Chamber of Commerce to honor the founding of Goshen. This year’s event took place on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Maple City Chapel, 2015 Lincolnway East, Goshen. The luncheon featured Mayor Gina Leichty as the keynote speaker, providing an update on city activities, projects, and future plans. With over 450 attendees, Founders’ Day serves as a prime opportunity for networking and community engagement.
