The contractor is nearing completion of their work on the west side of Ninth Street between Jackson and College, and will be moving over to the east side shortly to start working on the path between the road and the railroad tracks.
Their schedule is dependent on NIPSCO gas relocating their services, but they expect to switch over on Monday, May 20. Traffic will be switched from northbound only to southbound only for about one month until they move to the next phase of construction.
