Adult Sports

Men's Basketball League

This league will play on Wednesday evenings from November 7 through February 13. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of nine games and an end of season tournament. Games are played at Goshen High School. Pre-registration is currently being accepted at the Goshen Parks & Recreation Office through October 19 or until the league is full. In order to secure a spot in the league, the registration/roster form with a paid entry fee must be collected at the Park Office. The fee is $580 per team. A mandatory team manager meeting will be scheduled upon the close of registration. Please contact Frank at 534-6723 with any questions.

Note: School gymnasiums will be closed for school holidays (October
24, November 21, December 26 and January 2) and/or special events.
No spectators allowed.

Adult Basketball Open Gym 

Enjoy some Wednesday evening pick-up games during our Men’s 40 and Older Open Gym. Individuals play each Wednesday, 7–9 pm, November 7 to March 20 (see Note below) in a Goshen Community Schools gymnasium, to be announced. Pre-registration is required and is currently being accepted at the Goshen Parks & Recreation Office. An open-gym pass will be issued upon registration for check-in during game play. The fee is $40. Co-Ed Volleyball League

This indoor league guarantees a minimum of eight games and an end-of-season tournament. Games will be played in a Goshen Community Schools gymnasium to be announced. There is a four-team minimum and an eight team maximum for each skill level. League will be conducted the week of November 5 through March 7. Registration is currently being accepted at the Goshen Parks & Recreation Office through October 19 or until league is full. A team roster and full fee must be submitted at the time of registration. Cost is $275.00 per team. A mandatory team manager meeting will be scheduled upon the close of registration. Please contact Frank at 534-6723 with any questions.

Mondays
“B/BB”: Intermediate, moderate to high skill level by players/teams. Players will be able to bump, set and spike well. Teams may use multiple offensive and defensive strategies and may attempt to double block.

Tuesdays
“C/D”: Recreational teams with average to less-skilled players who want social activity, fun and exercise.

Wednesdays
“B/BB”: Intermediate, moderate to high skill level by players/teams. Players will be able to bump, set and spike well. Teams may use multiple offensive and defensive strategies and may attempt to double block.

Thursdays
“A/AA”: Players/teams with competitive, highly skilled players with consistently accurate setting, along with good knowledge of running offensive volleyball plays.

Adult Summer Softball Leagues

Registration is now open for our 2019 Adult Summer Softball Leagues! Teams can register now through April 12 at the Park Office located at 410 W. Plymouth Ave. during the business hours of 7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. Teams will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. The league fees must be paid in full for a team to be officially registered. The leagues will have a doubleheader format with a single elimination format to follow regular season play.

League Divisions

  • Monday (C): Starts April 29. Recreational league whose teams are often composed of inexperienced players or players wanting to play in a less intense, fun atmosphere.
  • Tuesday (B): Starts April 30. Intermediate league whose teams are often composed of moderate to highly skilled players that may have played together in previous seasons.   
  • Thursday (A): Starts May 2. Upper league whose teams are often composed of highly skilled players that have played together in previous seasons.
