Food Forests are diverse, multi-layered planting systems designed to mimic a natural forest ecosystem with a focus on edible and useful plants. These food forests were installed with a focus on providing fresh produce to the surrounding community. They were planted as part of a Public Private Partnership.

Current Food Forests

• Maple City Health Care Center VISTA (installed in 2024) 808 N 3rd St. Goshen, IN 46528, Located behind solar panels and along wrought iron fence.
• Silverwood Mennonite Church (installed in 2025) 1745 W Lincoln Ave, Goshen, IN 46526, Located along Lincoln Ave side of building.
