Goshen Police Department Employment Policy

OUR 2022 HIRING POOL IS NOW OPEN.

The Goshen Police Department will begin accepting applications on Monday, August 30th, 2021 for full-time Police Officers and Reserve Police Officers for the 2022 hiring pool.

We are offering a lateral transfer bonus-$2000 sign on bonus,$2000 upon the completion of your 2ndyear, and $4000 upon the completion of your 5th year.

Those interested in pursuing a career in Law Enforcement are encouraged to apply. You may pick up an application packet Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm in the office at Goshen Police Department, 111 E. Jefferson Street, Goshen, IN.

Applications completed through the Human Resources department website will NOT be accepted.

Applicants must be 21 years of age and have not reached their40thbirthday to be considered for employment.They must also live within 50 miles of our department, be a US citizen, have a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma/GED.

Applications are available until Friday, October 1st, 2021. All applications must be returned to the Police Department by Friday, October 1stat 5pm.
