Eisenhower Drive N. & S. Road Reconstruction

LATEST UPDATE 9/10/21: Traffic should be back to normal by 9/18/2021 with a project final date of 9/24/2021. We would like to sincerely thank everyone for their patience.

The pavement on Eisenhower Drive North and South has not been reconstructed in over 20 years. In recent years, the road has been chip and sealed a couple of times to extend the pavement's life. However, with the constant truck traffic, the pavement bed has deteriorated and the pavement cross-section has reached the end of its service life. The project is proposed to begin May 03, 2021 and ends by August 20, 2021.

Phase I - Reconstruct the private railroad spur crossing, May 18 thru May 22

Phase II - Full depth pavement removal of the outside lane on Eisenhower Drive North and South, May 26 thru                     June 28

Phase III - Full depth pavement removal of the inside lane on Eisenhower Drive North and South, June 29 thru                        August 13

Phase IV - Pavement markings, the week of August 15th
