WATER TO BE SHUT OFF ON LINCOLN AVENUE

Note: The Boil Water Advisory issued on April 23, 2018 has been canceled.  The order was for: All Homes on Lincoln Ave from 6th to 8th Street.  Samples have been taken; test results are satisfactory, it is no longer necessary to boil your water.Thank you for your patience and for water conservation measures you followed.  If you have any questions, please contact the Water & Sewer Department at 534-5306.

Water will be shut off On Lincoln Avenue From 6th to 8th streets Monday, April 23 from noon to 5 p.m. due to Construction on US 33, where staff is installing a new water main. A Boil Water Advisory is issued when water comes back on.

In Consultation with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, it has been determined that the water customers should boil their drinking water.

It is recommended that all cooking and drinking water be brought to a complete boil for five minutes before using. Please continue to boil all cooking and drinking water until we notify you that it is no longer necessary.

Until we resolve this drinking water problem, we are also asking that you conserve water and only use what is necessary for household and personal needs.
