Beginning Tuesday morning, March 14, the westbound lane on Monroe Street will be closed to traffic between U.S. 33 and Logan Street to replace a water main. Traffic will only be allowed to travel eastbound. The contractor estimates work on Monroe Street to last about eight weeks before moving to Logan Street to continue the water main replacement project. Please use caution when driving along Monroe, as there will be construction equipment, stored materials and excavations along the road.
