PROJECT UPDATE: LINCOLN AVENUE

The Goshen Board of Works approved changes to the Lincoln Avenue milling paving project schedule Monday, June 24.

While the portion of Lincoln Avenue between Third Street and the Elkhart River bridge will reopen to traffic on June 25, the next closure will not be until July 8. That is when Lincoln Avenue will be paved from 3rd to Main Street.

The final portion of Lincoln Avenue to be paved, between Main to 8th streets, will not be closed until the week of July 29.

The changes to the schedule were made to avoid road closures during July First Fridays (July 5) and the Elkhart County 4-H Fair (July 19–27).
