NIPSCO is working to restore power on homes affected on the 400 block of Westwood Road and 700 block of Fair Oaks Drive.
Goshen water utility was working in the 400 block of Westwood Friday morning, Feb. 12, when a power line was hit. This caused a power surge for residences on the two blocks of Westwood Road and Fair Oaks.
The Goshen Fire Department immediately responded to ensure everyone in the area was safe.
The City has contracted L&M Electric to make any necessary repairs and is working with NIPSCO to make sure the infrastructure is safe before power is restored to each resident.
