West Lincoln Avenue will be restricted to one lane Friday, Aug. 18 and Monday, Aug. 21 in the 1700 block of W. Lincoln Avenue, across from Silverwood Lane. Crews will reopen the lane at the end of the day Friday and close again Monday Morning, before reopening to traffic at the end of the day Monday. more

Norfolk Southern has changed the dates of when railroad crossings in Goshen will be closed. These are the new changes: The crossing at Madison Street (US 33) will not be closed until a later date to be determined. Last month, the city notified residents there would be no brush collection in August. That has changed to due to there being significant amounts of brush out on the streets from storm damage. Participants with NIPSCO and I&M are strongly encouraged to sign a contract before Sept 30th, 2017 to receive installation before the end of the year, when changes to net metering policies start to take effect. Your home or business may be eligible for the Solarize negotiated pricing even if it is located in the surrounding counties, thanks to guidance from the Michiana Area Council of Governments.
