The Intersection of Lincoln and Steury Avenues will be closed for three days beginning tomorrow Tuesday, Oct. 3.
The closures are necessary to facilitate installation of storm water infrastructure, including two new catch basins and associated piping, within the intersection that will be tied into the newly constructed detention basin on the south side of Lincoln Avenue. Substantial flooding is a frequent problem at this location.
The detour on the south side of Lincoln Avenue is, from east to west, Lincoln Avenue to Blackport Drive, to Monroe Street to Logan Street.
The detour on the north side of Lincoln Avenue is, from east to west, Middlebury Street to Olive Street to Lincoln Avenue.
