GOSHEN ENGINEERING TO HOST OPEN HOUSE FOR LINCOLN AVENUE CYCLE TRACK

The Goshen Engineering Department is hosting an open house to further collect feedback on the temporary cycle track along Lincoln Avenue.

The open house, scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Goshen Public Library, will be a chance for residents to ask questions and give feedback based on their experience using the track or driving alongside it.

The City installed a demonstration Cycle Track lane along the south side of Lincoln Avenue between 5th and 8th streets in early May. The mentioned portion of Lincoln Avenue was reconfigured to include a two-way cycle track, two driving lanes, and two parking lanes on both sides of the road and a center turn lane.

In addition to the open house, the City created a survey to collect community input about the cycle track. Residents can take still take the survey by going to https://bit.ly/cycletracksurvey. Para tomar la encuesta en español, vaya a https://bit.ly/ciclovialincoln.
