Goshen City Cemeteries is pleased to announce an open house for the new Violett Cemetery Cremation Garden on Friday, Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
During that time a staff member will be on hand to answer questions about the garden for members of the public.
The cremation garden, built over the summer with the help of local landscaper Stone Ridge Landscaping, Inc., will give residents who choose to cremate the remains of their loved ones three options:
1. Ground burial in an 18X18-inch space
2. Placing the ashes in a columbarium niche
3. Scattering the ashes in a scattering area
Pre-sales of columbarium niches will be available beginning the following Monday.
