MAPLE CITY MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL TO BE HELD FOR SECOND YEAR

Join your neighbors and enjoy of Goshen’s rich cultural diversity at the second Maple City Multicultural Festival this Saturday, Aug. 26. The event will be held at Rogers Park, 102 Chicago Ave., from noon to 6 p.m.

Like last year, the festival will provide the opportunity to share food, music, games and traditions of their cultures. Enjoy music from Dos Hermanos Band, One Love Drum Circle, Burgundy and Idris Busari, among other talented local artists; try dishes from El Salvador, Ethiopia, India, Palestine and more; and bring your elementary-age kids to find all the treasures in a scavenger hunt to win a prize!

Last but not least, meet with and say hi to staff from the Goshen Fire, Goshen Police and Parks and Recreation Departments!

Bring your friends and family to this great community event!

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no parking available at Rogers Park and instead will be available at the County Building and Juvenile Detention Center parking lots, off of North Second Street. From there, visitors can take the pedestrian bridge to Rogers Park.
